The Friendly Nations Visa is a residency program for nationals of designated countries (the U.S. included) who can demonstrate professional or economic ties to Panama — typically a local employment offer, professional registration, or qualifying real estate investment. It grants two-year temporary residency convertible to permanent. A common path for U.S. operators who want to embed with a Panama-based team.
